Coronavirus: What Our Clinic is Doing to Prevent the Spread
At Northeast Texas Neurology Associates, we are doing our best to stop the spread of Coronavirus and other contagious diseases like influenza. We are taking every reasonable precaution in our office including:
No hand shaking. We will greet you with a smile, but no handshake.
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the office. Please use it liberally.
We will be sanitizing or washing our hands before and after examining you, including taking your vitals (blood pressures, heart rate, etc).
Counter tops and tables are wiped down with disinfecting wipes after each patient.
We cover our coughs and sneezes.
If any NETNA employees are sick, we do not come to work.
At our clinic, we treat your neurological problems. We are not equipped to test nor treat diseases like Coronavirus or the flu. Please cancel your appointment with us if you are sick. We will reschedule it as soon as you are feeling better. Kindly give us 24 hours if you are able so that another person can have your appointment time.
At the time of writing this blog post, there are less than 5 cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Texas. In most circumstances, Coronavirus is not a deadly disease. However, the economic impact we have seen around the world already has been significant.
